Kevin L. Jones has been a web producer for KTVU.com since 2008. Before coming to KTVU, he enrolled in UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism in 2006 and graduated in 2008 with a master's degree in New Media Journalism.
His reporting career began after he graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and moved to California, where he accepted his first full-time job writing for a newspaper, the River News-Herald in Rio Vista, Calif. Within 8 months, he was promoted to editor of the paper, in charge of one staff reporter and several part-time contributors.
In 2005, he accepted a reporter/editor position at the Novato Advance, where he covered the local school district and edited the paper's Arts section.
