David Stevenson

david stevensonKTVU Channel Two News reporter David Stevenson has a distinguished and diverse background in television. A graduate of Boston University's broadcast journalism program, he began his career in CNN's Los Angeles bureau as a courier, quickly working his way up to the position of field producer. In 1990, Stevenson headed south, joining the staff at ABC News' Atlanta bureau. As a bureau producer, he coordinated network coverage of breaking news events and produced stories for "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings," "Good Morning America," and "Nightline."

Relocating to San Francisco in 1999, Stevenson researched, wrote, and produced personal finance stories for NewsNet Central and Quicken.com TV, which have been syndicated to more than 40 television markets around the country. These how-to stories covered topics including investing, financial planning, and e-commerce. In 2000, he made his on-air debut as a reporter for TechTV, reporting on technology and e-commerce trends. In 2005, Stevenson joined KTVU Channel Two News as a general assignment reporter.
