National Sales Coordinator

SUMMARY: Assist two National Sales Managers in the booking, scheduling and maintenance of National Sales orders via Telerep offices by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Processing of National orders received by all assigned Telerep offices in a timely manner. Maintenance of all National orders (makegoods, changes, and filing).

Coordination of all maintenance with assigned Telerep offices via phone, rem, or fax.

Assists in the flow of information to Telerep, (e.g., rate changes, inventory updates, etc.) Backs up other sales assistants when necessary. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.

Prepares outgoing mail.

May be called upon to provide station switchboard relief.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two years college preferred or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales orders, written instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Experience with computer keying and experience in/familiarity with broadcasting. Minimum 50 wpm typing speed. Knowledge of IBM-PC, Minipac, and word processing equipment.
