A Restrained Palette and Disciplined Silhouette at John Galliano Show
Bill Gaytten presented a tightly-edited and minimalist autumn/winter 2013-14 collection for John Galliano on Sunday (March 3). His latest collection exhibited his signature expert tailoring and played with both volume and texture. Fitted jackets and circular cut dresses and coats contrasted with looser tubular shapes and long drop column dresses. Drape versus geometric line and seaming juxtaposed jacquards of waffle, wool, weave, plait, pleat and swirl.
