SAN FRANCISCO: Pier 29 building may be too damaged to save
A section of the Embarcadero in San Francisco remained closed to traffic late Wednesday night while authorities continued to investigate the scene of the massive four-alarm fire at Pier 29 that may have irreparably damaged the historic structure.
