Supplies, Troops Flow Into Mali

French soldiers are digging-in in Markala Mali. Anti-tank weapons, heavy machine guns and other supplies are flowing into the region as France makes good on it's promise to help government forces fight Islamist extremists in the north. Elsewhere in the capital Bamako, French troops passed time at a makeshift camp as they waited for their orders. French officials have said the conflict threatens the security of Africa and the West.
