100 Black Women – Madam C.J. Walker Luncheon

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women is an organization dedicated to inspiring African American women to become leaders in their community and be role models for young African American girls. The Oakland Chapter is doing great things for African-American women through programs that help get them involved in their communities through education, scholarship, and collaboration. Their fundraiser, the Madam C.J. Walker Business &Community RecognitionAwards Luncheon, is held every year, and recognizes outstanding business and community leaders.

As many baby boomers reach the age of retirement, some are asking questions about Medicare and what to consider. One Brick

Do you want to volunteer but you feel like you don’t have the time or know where to look? Volunteering is made easy with the organization One Brick, where prospective volunteers can sign up for a 4-hour volunteering event on their website and simply show up. One Brick is unique in that it requires no long-term commitment from its volunteers and is run solely by volunteers.
