Earth Day Restoration

2012 is the 15th Anniversary of  the California State Parks Foundation’s Cleanup and Restoration project celebrating Earth Day.  CSPF is dedicated to protecting the state’s public parks and is coping with the mass budget cuts and closures of many of California’s state parks.  Thousands of volunteers will gather on April 14th to plant trees and community gardens, help restore trails and wildlife habitat and remove trash and debris from beaches and parklands and much more. Visit their website for volunteer opportunities and locations.
