Dive Pirates Foundation

Find out about a fun and generous organization dedicated to helping physically disabled people, including veterans, explore scuba diving. Dive Pirates Foundation provides equipment and training to sponsored applicants and gets them out in the water for a chance to feel weightless and free under the sea. Find out how you can help sponsor an applicant and about their upcoming fundraiser in Menlo Park that will feature fun activities and guest speaker Erica Alva, a marine who lost his leg in the Iraq war.

Aging and Disability Tech Summit

The Mayor’s Office of San Francisco along with the Department of Aging and Adult Services is hosting a unique event to introduce local seniors to digital technology and media on May 15th at City Hall. As more seniors begin using the internet and modern technology, this event can help those not yet up-to-date or completely savvy with broadband technologies. Various workshops will be featured as well as special focuses on how to do medical research, use Facebook or use email.
