Los Angeles, CA -- (Sports Network) - Candace Parker scored 31 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Phoenix Mercury, 91-80, at Staples Center.

Lisa Leslie donated 25 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists while Shannon Bobbitt added 11 points and five assists for the Sparks, who snapped a three- game skid.

Cappie Pondexter and Kelly Miller each had 14 points while Tangela Smith contributed 12 points and six boards for the Mercury, who have dropped their last two games.
