Google is donating $100,000 to victims of Coyote Creek flooding

Google is donating $100,000 to victims of San Jose's Coyote Creek flooding this winter.

The money is a boon for Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, said Beverly Jackson, whose organization was busy on Thursday building stairs for homes damaged during the February rains.

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo has been pushing other corporations to step forward and take a lead with funding for the rebuilding effort that includes at least 50 families.
