President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame once again drew a crowd as an artist staged a silent protest.

The artist who goes by the name of 'Plastic Jesus' used tape to put "prison bars" over President Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star last week.

Plastic Jesus tweeted "Someone put prison bars over @realDonaldTrump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. #postus #ImpeachTrump # resist."

'Plastic Jesus' also posted video of the incident.

According to the Huffington Post, Plastic Jesus, a British born artist, later admitted to being the person responsible for the prison bar art.

He told the Huffington Post in an email, "There have been calls to jail Trump since the day he was elected, and today he was certainly put behind bars."

Plastic Jesus told the Huffington Post the protest "art" was intended to be humorous. He says he used double sided sticky tape so the bars could be removed without causing damage.

The star was restored by noon Thursday, according to KCAL/KCBS.

This latest prank comes after Trump's star was destroyed in July by a man with a pick ax.
