She is a former U.S Peace Corps Volunteer who served in the Republic of Armenia. She also taught university journalism classes with a USAID program.
Prior to KTVU, Leigh worked at KOVR and KXTV in Sacramento, CA, KGET in Bakersfield, CA and WWSB in Sarasota, FL.
Leigh holds a BA from Rowan University and a MS degree from Syracuse University.
Outside of work, Leigh enjoys traveling to a different country every year, extreme sports such as bungee jumping, hang gliding, sky diving, and hiking Half Dome in the middle of the night to see the sunrise in Yosemite, and spending time with her dog, Moxie.

Last Tuesday was Shuo’s birthday. He spent the day working on his laptop at the Starbucks when a man grabbed his laptop. Shuo ran after the thief but was dragged by the getaway car and suffered severe head trauma. He died a few feet from the Starbucks.
