Boy paralyzed in Oakland shooting gets custom Halloween costume

There was a special Halloween reveal at Chabot Elementary School in Oakland on Friday: a custom-designed Mario Kart costume for Asa Luo, 10, that fits his wheelchair. Asa was paralyzed in 2023 after being struck by a stray bullet while out with his family.
