Interim Oakland Police Chief Ben Fairow relieved of duties, will return to BART

Ben Fairow -- appointed interim Oakland police chief just last week -- was relieved of his duties, the mayor said Wednesday, adding a new chapter to ongoing turmoil at an agency that has been rocked by a widening sex scandal.
