15-year-old identified as victim of fatal shooting in San Francisco

The San Francisco's Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting Monday morning as a 15-year-old Day'Von Hann. 

Officers responded to sounds of gunfire at the intersection of 24th and Capp streets outside of GiroMex financial services around midnight, police said.

Officers found Hann, of San Francisco, with a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of 24th Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police tried to stop a car that was at the scene, but it sped away.

Police also found a bullet hole in a window of Tita's Hair Salon on 24th Street. There are apartments above several businesses there and several people came out to see their homes surrounded by crime scene tape. 

Police have not released a motive in the shooting and no arrests have been made.
