OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Officials with the California Highway Patrol said the connector from westbound state Highway 24 to westbound Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland is open again following a five-vehicle collision this evening.
The connector reopened at 7:49 p.m. following a chase involving
CHP Officer Herman Baza said the chase has ended and police have detained the person they were chasing.
Baza did not have any information on whether anyone was injured in the collision.
