A BART transit sergeant spotted the suspect near the Concord BART station, and arrested him.<
I've learned that Arron Goode, 41, of Oakland, wanted by @CoCoSheriff in the killing of a man in Pacheco, was spotted near the Concord @SFBART Station by transit Sgt. Eric White and arrested. Lee reports that this was at least the third time in the last year, that BART police officers have arrested murder suspects.
Authorities received reports of a man, lying on the sidewalk and covered in blood on Tuesday.
When officers arrived on the scene, the 29-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far, there's no word of a possible motive in the homicide.
