Collision snarls I-280 in Los Altos hills

Traffic on southbound I-280 was crawling in the Los Altos hills after noon on Monday due to a car that crashed and flipped. The condition of the people in the crash was not known, but authorities said there were injuries.

Authorities are investigating a crash that flipped a car on I-280 in Los Altos Hills on Monday. 

There was a significant delay for drivers going south on the interstate. 

Two lanes appeared to be closed as the California Highway Patrol examined the wrecked car and looked for other information about what happened. 

The condition of the people involved in the crash was unknown.
