Free World Music Day festival Sunday in Palo Alto

PALO ALTO, Calif. (BCN) - World harmony will be more than a pipe dream Sunday in Palo Alto as the World Harmony Chorus and other musical groups from around the world perform at the free Tenth Annual World Music Day event.
Bengal folk music, traditional Chinese music, marimba music from Zimbabwe and a host of offerings from other cultures will be on tap starting around 11 a.m. on University Avenue, according to organizers.
University Avenue will closed between High Street and Webster until 8 p.m. for the event, police noted.
