OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - Santa Claus was making traffic stops in Oakland on Tuesday morning.
He was handing out toys to kids.
The Motor Santa event began at the Eastmont Substation in Oakland and continued on International Blvd.
Oakland Police Foundation along with other non-profits and Toys “R” Us worked together to get the toys.
Santa made stops all up and down International Blvd.
Our KTVU crew saw one 8-year-old boy get a brand new basketball.
One mom told KTVU at first she thought she was getting pulled over and was going to get a ticket, but she was pleasantly surprised when her kids received gifts.
