Livermore mayor cleans up graffiti with his own hands

Graffiti is a problem that affects the entire Bay Area, but in Livermore the city’s mayor is dealing with the problem firsthand.

You see tags or vandalism on bridges, street signs and on the walls of buildings, but what’s interesting is Mayor John Marchand has taken the lead with a group of volunteers who make up Graffiti and Litter Abatement Daily (GLAD).

The mayor carries an ‘anti-graffiti kit’ in his car and it came in handy when someone spray painted ‘Trump’ on one resident Nancy Marko’s car.
