Mandatory evacuations lifted for residents near city of Napa
NAPA, Calif. - Mandatory evacuation orders have been lifted for residents in three areas of Napa County effective 2 p.m. today.
Monticello Road between Vichy Avenue and Wooden Valley Road east of Napa, Wild Horse Valley Road east of Napa and Dry Creek Road from Orchard Avenue to 4591 Dry Creek Road west of Napa will reopen.
Checkpoints will remain in place along Monticello Road to allow residents access, county officials said.
A road closure and mandatory evacuation order will remain in effect north of 4591 Dry Creek Road, according to the county.
