VACAVILLE, Calif. (BCN) - An overturned big-rig is blocking all four lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 80 just east of Pena Adobe Road in Vacaville on Thursday afternoon, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The overturned truck was reported around was reported at 2:50 p.m. and the CHP issued a Sig-alert around 3 p.m.
Four other vehicles were initially reported to be involved, but the CHP later said they were vehicles had already been crushed.
The driver of the big-rig that landed on its side was able to escape by breaking a window, according to the CHP.
Westbound traffic is being diverted onto Laguna Valley Road.
