SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - A fire burned on the edge of northbound U.S. 101 in San Francisco Thursday evening. It is possible that the blaze near the Cesar Chavez Street, Potrero Ave. exit stems from a homeless encampment per California Highway Patrol autocad.
San Francisco Fire Department said they responded to the fire at 7 p.m. There were no injuries reported, according to Lieutenant Jonathan Baxter. The fire is under investigation
Fire could be seen partially blocking the far right lane.
SF Fire did not have any further information.
