Gas break in Mountain View

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KTVU) - Mountain View Police Department reported of a gas main break.

According to PG and E, the main broke at 8:12 this morning. Officials say a third party was digging  when they hit a plastic line. Crews are on site and working to get gas stopped. Fire and police are also on scene for safety. 

Traffic is closed in both directions on El Camino between Mariposa and Pettis.
