Salinas police ask for help to identify suspects who passed bad checks

- Salinas police are asking for the public's help in identifying a pair of suspects who passed off six bad checks at several CVS Pharmacy locations in the city in February.

According to police, a man and woman paid for separate transactions with a total of six traveler's checks at the CVS locations on Feb. 11. Police said CVS management realized the checks were fraudulent only after the purchases were complete.
