Suspect arrested in shooting at rap concert, bowling alley in Cupertino

One arrest has been made in a shooting that took place Saturday night at a rap concert at Homestead Bowl and The X Bar in Cupertino, Sheriff’s officials said.

First report of the shots came in around 10:30 p.m. Witnesses say two groups of people started fighting and throwing chairs at the end of the party before dozens of shots broke out.

One adult victim inside the building was struck in the leg. The victim was transferred to a local hospital where he received treatment for a non-life threatening injury. 

Two firearms were recovered during the investigation and deputies are processing the crime scene for evidence. The name of the suspect arrested was not made available. 

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is asking witnesses, local neighbors and concert attendees to come forward with any information or video related to the incident.
