Truck carrying bottles of alcohol flips over in Union City

A truck carrying a load of alcohol bottles lost its load at the Alvarado Niles onramp to northbound I-880 flipped over.

UNION CITY, Calif. - A truck lost its load of alcohol bottles early Friday morning in Union City. 

The California Highway Patrol reported the accident at 5:55 a.m. at the Alvarado Niles Road onramp to northbound I-880.

The CHP reported that there was glass all over the highway. 

But officers were able to clean up the mess before 6:30 a.m. and no injuries were reported.
