Worldwide flash mob has Bay Area roots

MORAGA, Calif. (KTVU) - Dancers of all ages participated in a worldwide flash mob Sunday, known as Dance for Kindness.

It started in 2012 and is a celebration of World Kindness Day. There are now over 120,000 participants. 

Groups from across the world performed the same dance to the same song today and the choreographer is from the Bay Area.
