OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - It looks like Raiders running back and Oakland native Marshawn Lynch is leaving the team after two seasons.
Beast Mode played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills before coming back home to Oakland in 2017.
This is Lynch's second retirement: After an injury-plagued 2015 season, he announced his first retirement in February 2016 by tweeting a photo of his football cleats hanging from a telephone wire.
As of early Wednesday morning, Lynch hadn't tweeted about his current plans to retire from the NFL. He has an active business career though: He opened a line of Beast Mode clothing stores and a soul-food restaurant in Emeryville.
