San Francisco District Attorney's office confirms they will not pursue criminal charges against Giants CEO Larry Baer stemming from an altercation with his wife that was caught on video and shared widely on news reports, starting with TMZ.
In a brief statement to media on Tuesday, Alex Bastian, with the D.A.'s office wrote:
“After a careful review of the relevant evidence, including multiple videos, statements from several witnesses and the parties themselves, the evidence does not support filing criminal charges.”
OAKLAND (BCN) The Alameda County Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday to approve a lease agreement that would keep the Oakland Raiders football team playing at the Coliseum for at least one more year.
The board's vote follows a unanimous vote by Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority commissioners on Friday to approve the lease agreement.
The final hurdle for the agreement will come on Thursday, when the Oakland City Council votes on it.
Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving five vehicles in San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred on the city's northern waterfront at Hyde and Bay streets. The crash was first reported at 2:37 p.m.
The cable car line in that area shut down for more than about two and a half hours before it was up and running and the traffic delays were cleared.
