A crash in San Francisco on Sunday left one man dead and a woman in life-threatening condition, officials said.
At about 2:08 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Taylor and O'Farrell Streets for a report of a multi-vehicle crash involving pedestrians.
Police said the driver of a black Tesla was headed north on Taylor and collided with a gray Mini-Cooper at the intersection and then veered into two pedestrians in a crosswalk.
The City of Oakland has continuously strengthened its sanctuary city policies over the past three years.
Last year, Mayor Libby Schaaf made national headline when issued a public warning about upcoming ICE raids.
But a report by Bay Area News Group reveals a different story happening at the Oakland International Airport.
Concord Police are looking for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning.
Officers said that a motorcyclist was headed east on Concord Blvd. near Lodato Way just before 12:30 a.m. when the biker tried to pass a Prius in the same lane. The biker then collided into the side of the car and was ejected into the westbound lane. A dark-colored pickup truck then ran over the biker and continued driving.
The biker was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
