10th annual Kunal Patel tennis tournament

The 10th annual Kunal Patel San Francisco Tennis Tournament is underway at Golden Gate Park’s Goldman Tennis Center, running through Sunday. Created by family and friends to honor Kunal, an avid athlete who died in a 2014 bike crash at age 27, this year features more than150 players competing for a $50,000 prize. Known for launching top talent like Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, the tournament offers free admission to the public, featuring competitive matches, student programs, and community events.
