Hurricane Isaias: Cleaning up on the Gulf Coast
At least four people were killed when the Category 2 storm made landfall near the Florida Panhandle, leaving widespread destruction in its wake. The hurricane brought fierce wind gusts exceeding 110 mph, which flattened trees, downed power lines, and tore roofs off homes throughout the region. As power returns to most of the area following extensive work by utility crews, impacted residents continue to rely on aid groups for food, water, and basic household supplies to support their recovery efforts.
