A massive high-pressure dome is compressing the coastal marine layer, locking Northern California into a prolonged, unseasonably hot autumn weather pattern. Coast: 65° to 72°. A thin stratus fog deck is confined strictly to the beaches during the day. Bayshore: 75° to 85°. High clouds with temperatures running well above normal early October averages. Inland Valleys: Sun and passing clouds. 85° to 95°. NW breze 5 to 15 mph.  Heat Advisory in effect for most of the Bay area Saturday 10am until Sunday 10pm, except for Solano County with the Advisory until Monday. Stay hydrated with the Heat Risk Moderate. Coastal Flood Advisory expires Friday at 6pm. High tide is at 3:58 pm.at 6.71 feet.
