Oil prices reach $100 a barrel

Global crude oil prices surged past $100 a barrel on Wednesday over rising tensions in the Middle East. Prices jumped more than 3% after U.S. forces targeted Iranian tankers. President Trump said despite this, his focus will remain keeping Iran at Bay and he pledges that oil prices will tumble after the Midterm election.
