ANTIOCH, Calif. (KTVU) -
UPDATE: The child was safely recovered in San Joaquin County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Antioch Police are searching for a 1 year-old Hispanic child, abducted Sunday afternoon.
The child, Ricardo Sanchez was initially reported missing Sunday at 3:34PM.
The child is 2 feet tall, 20 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
It is unknown what clothing the child is wearing.
The suspect is 26 year-old Ricardo Sanchez Gomez, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
The suspect should be considered violent and dangerous, and it is unknown if he has any weapons at this time.
The suspect vehicle is a 2011 dark grey Subaru Forester with California license plate 6RTV690.
