‘Animal House’ actress Mary Louise Weller dies at 79: Reports

Mary Louise Weller, the actress known for her role in "Animal House," has died after an illness. She was 79 years old.

Per The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, her longtime partner Michael Roy Curtis confirmed her death.

According to the outlets, Curtis announced that she died on Thursday, Oct. 1 — one day shy of her 80th birthday, Oct. 2 – after an illness. 

No other details about her death were provided.

Her friend David Marks also confirmed the news on Facebook, writing, "It is with great sadness that I share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend, Mary-Louise Weller. Beautiful Mary, friend, actress, model, equestrian, passed away quietly."
