3.5 magnitude earthquake shakes Contra Costa County
A small earthquake struck Monday afternoon near Antioch and Clayton.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. - A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck in Contra Costa County Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was reported just after 3 p.m., with an epicenter about 5 miles east of Clayton and 5 miles southwest of Antioch.
