A suspect who had barricaded himself inside a San Anselmo home ended up surrendering peacefully, plice said, Thursday morning.

The man had blocked the door of his room at the residence in the 200 block of Butterfield Road with furniture around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday after his roommate called police saying the suspect allegedly vandalized his car, Central Marin Police Authority Lt. Mike Legan said.

Police tweeted he surrendered about 7 a.m.
