CALIFORNIA (KTVU/BCN) - As the debate grows louder over gun control, gun sales have spiked setting a new record for 2015.
Federal and State data both show a big jump in firearm sales on black Friday.
And another jump in sales after the San Bernardino shootings.
The analysis shows that firearms sales triggered 1.51 million background checks so far this year.
That's higher than the 1.47 million background checks for all of 2014.
