HAYWARD, Calif. (KTVU) - A group of employees at St. Rose Hospital pooled their money together to buy their favorite Warriors fan tickets to a game.
Billy is a special needs student who volunteers at the hospital.
Employees say Billy is an amazing person, “He brings so much happiness to the hospital – knows everybody’s name. Well he’s a huge Warriors fan so we started just saying we should send him to a Warriors game.”
Everyone started chipping in for Billy’s ticket as they heard about the plan.
The group of employees raised enough money to buy tickets for both Billy and his dad to attend the game.
They surprised Billy at work on Tuesday with a Warriors shirt and the tickets.
