HEALDSBURG, Calif. (BCN) - The northbound lane of U.S. Highway 101 near central Healdsburg was closed for several hours Wednesday after a cement truck overturned in the center divider, the California Highway Patrol said.
The fully-loaded truck overturned around 11:50 a.m. near the Central Healdsburg on-ramp, blocking the No. 1 lane, the CHP said.
The No. 2 southbound lane was closed while the driver trapped inside the truck was extricated, the CHP said.
The freeway was closed for several hours as crews worked to upright the truck and repair the damage. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured during the accident or what caused the wreck.
