PENNGROVE, Calif. (KTVU) - This story comes straight from the Rancho Adobe Fire District in Penngrove: “You can't make this up...some fine person, while fleeing a police Chase at 2 a.m., crashed his pickup full of stolen weed into the fire station and took out the cars of two guys who are out on the fire line," the district posted Monday on Facebook. "We thought he was going to come through the bedroom wall. I have no words.”
Capt. Larry Martinez told KTVU on Monday that the driver fled and that the trucks owned by the firefighters sustained moderate damage. “It’s horrible,” Martinez said, “on top of everything to have this happen.”
