Homicide investigation in rural Sonoma County
The Sonoma County sheriff's office is investigating a homicide that was reported Thursday night at a rural location in the Petaluma area.
PETALUMA, Calif. - The Sonoma County sheriff's office is investigating a homicide in a rural area near Petaluma.
Deputies have been at the location on Browns Lane, near Highway 116 since about 10 p.m. Thursday.
The initial call to authorities reported a shooting, but the sheriff's office has released additional information.
