SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - Mineta San Jose International Airport now has a new and taller fence around it.
It's a minimum of 10 feet tall, and has razor wire on the top of several sections of fence.
The airport decided it needed higher fences in 2014.
The decision came after a teenager managed to sneak into the wheel-well of a jet headed for Hawaii.
A woman slipped past terminal security and got onto a plane - without a boarding pass - and flew to Los Angeles.
The airport's old fence was 6' tall and met all federal security standards.
