SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - Police are investigating at shooting that occurred Saturday night in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood, which sent one person to the hospital.
Around 9:20 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shots heard near the intersection of Third Street and Quesada Avenue, according to police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi.
At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Another person at the scene escaped injury, Manfredi said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to Manfredi.
Officers were unable to locate any suspects in the area however witnesses said a black man in his 20s had been seen nearby just prior to the shooting.
