(KTVU) -- Mother nature may have spared drivers during the Friday morning commute. While some rain did fall, the storm lost some of its punch.

However, strong winds are still a concern for morning commuters with gusts predicted to hit upwards of 35 miles per hour.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a wind advisory for the Bay bridge Friday Morning.

The morning system is expected to move out of the area by 10:00am, but KTVU Fox 2 meteorologist Steve Paulson says there will be more rain later in the day, and that will likely cause more problems during the evening commute.
