Bay Area prepares as monkeypox becomes global emergency

The World Health Organization has declared monkeypox a global health emergency. This is the WHO’s highest level of alert. Health officials in the Bay Area said we are one of the 'epicenters' of the disease and there must be a coordinated effort to stop the spread.
