California's Electric Revolution: Lithium Ion Battery Supply
As California moves away from gas-powered vehicles the demand for batteries to power electric cars is going up. KTVU's Heather Holmes speaks with Jon Bornstein, COO of Amprius Technologies about the company's plans to mass produce lithium ion batteries. Correction at 2:58: Amprius is expected to boost production by 10X in the next year thanks to this grant, not 10 percent.
